Hyaluronic Acid – revolution in moisturizing!
Hyaluronic acid is a substance which is naturally found in our bodies in the form of sodium hyaluronate. More than half of it is in the skin and intercellular space. It is responsible there for the right level of moisture in the skin as well as its elasticity and smoothness. With age, its content in the dermis decreases, and thus the skin is less firm and elastic. When we apply sodium hyaluronate directly onto the skin, its content there increases, and it moisturizes and smoothens the skin. It has an anti-wrinkle impact and stimulates cells to regenerate.
The complex of three different hyaluronic acids exercises the most beneficial effect, as they work complimentarily:
- macromolecular acid constitutes a protective layer on the skin, which decreases water evaporation from the inner skin layers. Thus the skin is perfectly moisturized both on the outside as well as from the inside, and water does not evaporate from the stratum corneum of the epidermis,
- micromolecular acid penetrates deeper layers of the epidermis, moisturizing them and facilitating transportation of active substances,
- super low molecular weight acid increases the level of moisture inside the skin.
Hyaluronic acid should be applied first, and followed by oil, cream or serum.
